If life is supposed to start equally, why are some of you already ahead before you’ve made any real choices while others start behind from the very beginning?

This forum centers on how inequality is formed at the start of life. It focuses on how family background, geography, school quality, and access to early resources shape the opportunities available to you before you enter any system of education or work.

Members will work to produce a policy brief proposing reforms that reduce unequal starting conditions and make opportunity less dependent on where you are born.
